WOAH MOA I am typing a journal!


Here goes - news from November activities...

Describing the new drawings scans mainly:

Weeks ago in November, I went on leave back to Cali. While visiting friends and relatives, one of my friends let me use her scanner to scan my most recent artworks. It took me quite a while to figure out how to adjust the levels etc, and her computer's monitor was on a wierd lighting, plus I had no access to any image-editing program, --- soooo- the drawing scans are very bleached and look pretty cruddy, I think.

The scans still beat any attempts I might try using my digital camera capture them.

Photos:

I added some photos from the way home, a wacko pet dove named Ratty, and my visit to Point Reyes National Seashore -only the ones with myself or Candace in them so far-, plus a few older pics that were never uploaded when they were newer.


FS 2004:

I added a few screencaps from FS 2004. I spent October downloading a bunch or aircraft, and had to get some pics of them.


The Gallery:

My gallery is currently a little of a distaster since I am just starting to get used to some of the newer options. I might do some rearranging given I have some time and motivation.


My computer:

My computer died weeks ago and I am unmovitated to invest in a new one. That being so, now it is highly unlikely that I will be uploading any new photos. Right now since my computer is deadlined, I am having trouble offloading my latest photos onto externals to relieve space for my Camera's data card.


Other news:

I am still doing some artworks here and there, you might see them in an unknown amount of time pending that I acquire access to a scanner.

Its coming about time to be gone for another year (or more) to do 24/7 Army stuff. I'll be outa here tomorrow, and I am uploading some last samples from some of the procrastinate-forever-to-add-to-the-gallery photo folders. I had to do so before I leave and have ended up adressing it at this last chance. After this, I probably wont be online for weeks at a time.

I have returned to California for a brief few days (and have already 95% used them up). During some of that time, I went with a few friends to one of my favorite places: Point Reyes National Seashore. We visited a few beaches and snapped some shots, tried to go the the Lighthouse but strong winds had access closed, so instead we went on the Bear Valley trail hike and got some pictures.

I picked a few images an uploaded them yesterday and today. I have a lot more I want to upload but I dont have a lot of time or patience, and they'll probably have to wait for ages for their turn.

It was nice to see BEETHE: [link] again and transfer (with no thanks back) some koodies into his posession.

Also, I just uploaded a few more Osan Airshow pics that I have been procrastinating for ages add to the gallery.

Well..

I finally uploaded another chunk of art that has been sitting around waiting for ages to be added to galleries and colletions.

Most of it is old drawings and sketches from years bygone. Old bird art, old airplane drawings..

The black vulture I uploaded a few days ago however is only about a month since creation.

I am uploading all this, and havent even finished uploading my Osan photos, or the newer F-15's or the freezing rain and icicles, doh!

Finally I have motivated myself to upload some old museum stuff to the gallery *hint* -some- further defining: -only-, or just a small portion of..

This portion is anti-aircraft guns:

S-60
The ZPU's are Soviet design, and the S-60 is Chinese design. They are Iraqi captured by 1st Cavalry units during Desert Storm.

BTW, the gallery folders are now up-to-date.

Hmm.. I wish they had a mood emoticon for bored... I guess isolated is the closest thing. ...
